the leap that worked

Oct 21, 2025

Here’s the thing—there’s no magical moment where the stars align and you suddenly feel 100% ready. If you wait for that, you might be waiting forever.

Don’t wait for your kit to be perfect. Don’t wait until you’ve nailed the sharpest winged liner. Don’t wait until you’ve hit some imaginary “ideal” clientele number. All of that comes as you grow, learn, and gain real-world experience.

When I went full-time, I didn’t have it all figured out. What I did have was a gut feeling I couldn’t ignore. I could see the career I wanted, I’d been writing those goals down for years, and one day I realized I had two options: keep cruising in my comfort zone, or bet on myself—no plan B.

Was I financially stable? Not even close. But that pressure gave me the push I needed to work harder. My clientele was building, I was meeting amazing people, and it just felt like now or never.

It was scary, uncertain, and far from perfect—but I trusted myself. And that’s the thing: “ready” isn’t something you wait for. It’s something you build with every booking, every challenge, and every moment you choose to keep going.

That’s why the Inside Out Club is here—to be in your corner, to share the things we’ve learned the hard way, and to help you grow into the artist (and business owner) you’re meant to be. You’re not doing this alone.

Wellness tip:

When work is extra busy, I make sure I’m taking supplements like vitamin c, zinc, colloidal silver & drinking electrolytes regularly to keep my energy and immunity up!!!!

my just-in-case kit
Every artist knows — no matter how prepared you are, something always comes up on the job.
