busy season ≠ messy kit

Your Kit’s Dirty Little Secret

A quiet week might seem like a break for your kit, but it’s not the time to let it sit and collect dust. While your tools are sitting still, bacteria is festering. Take the downtime to wipe everything down, spritz alcohol on your palettes, and give your brushes a deep clean. Your future clients will thank you.

  • Dirty tools = breakouts, irritation, and potential infections (yikes).
  • Cross-contamination is real. Don’t risk spreading bacteria between clients.
  • Clients notice. A clean kit builds trust and professionalism.

Quick tips to stay on top of it:

  • Use a daily brush cleaner between clients.
  • Disinfect palettes, compacts, and tools at the end of each day.
  • Keep disposables stocked—mascara & lip wands, q-tips, cotton rounds.
  • Set a reminder to deep clean weekly (your future self will thank you).

 Stay booked and sanitary.
